
2005
James Venture entered Pinnacle Pro-Wrestling's Havoc Haven Training Center in June of 2005 and began training under Dave Hollenbeck (aka "Havoc" aka "The Reason") alongside the likes of many of the top Northwest talent including: Aaron Bolo, Christopher Ryseck, Laramie Lexow, Azul Angel, Larkin O'Shea, The Wildcard, JD Mason, Eric Forge as well as many others.
After many months of basic wrestling training James Venture made his wrestling debut under the name Dash Venture, given to him by Pinnacle owner Cecil Reed due to James' quick temper or his ability to "trip out quickly" or to "Quick Trip" or "Dash Venture".Dash lost his debut match which was on October 30th, 2005 in Pacific, WA at the famed Havoc Haven losing to Twist. Dash would go on to win a battle royal later on that evening for the remaining spot in Pinnacle's The Grapple Cup.
Dash would then finish out the year by teaming with G-Shock to lose to Caden Mathews & Aaron Bolo in the first-round at Pinnacle Wrestling's first annual Grapple Cup tag-team tournament on November 26th, 2005.
Dash would also be on the losing end when he would face Nick Sully at Pinnacle's Lawless event on December 17th, 2005.
2006
Dash would start off 2006 by attending a wrestling seminar taught by Dr. Tom Prichard. He would go on to compete at the battle royal at Pinnacle's House Call event on January 20th, 2006.
At Pinnacle's Ascension event on February 25th, 2006 Dash would face and lose to his future
trainer, Tony Kozina, as Kozina wrestled under his Canadian Cooger gimmick.March saw Dash's participation in Pinnacle's tournament to crown the first ever Pinnacle Tag-Team champions at the final live event held at Pinnacle's Havoc Haven, on March 25th, 2006. Dash would be on the losing effort twice teaming with Nolen Phillips and Seth Knight.
In April Dash would team with Diafullah The Butcher & Hoss Tull (Wrestlers Of Mass Destruction) in a losing effort against Havoc, Twist & Nick Sully (The X-Ploders) at Pinnacle's Everett, WA debut, Everett Eruption.

April also saw Dash's Oregon State debut as he took on and went to a 15-minute time limit draw with Cameron Star at CPW's Rumble In The Hills event in Hillsboro, OR on April 30th, 2006.
On May 7th, 2006 Dash would be on the losing effort again in a 6-man tag match where he teamed with Hoss Tull & Azul Angel to take on Twist, Aaron Bolo & Larkin O'Shea in Astoria, OR for PWA.
Dash would then take a trip to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to participate in a wrestling seminar taught by Lance Storm. Dash would have a match against one of Storm's students at his academy.
Upon Dash's return to Washington he was greeted by Calgary's own and current WWE Florida developmental wrestler, TJ Wilson as he lost to Wilson in a triple-threat match that included Laramie Lexow in Auburn, WA at Pinnacle's debut show on May 20th, Spring Clash I, at The Auburn Vision Quest gym in front of 400 fans.
Later on that evening, after defeating challenger Skag Rollins, current WWE Smackdown
superstar and son of the late Davey Boy Smith, Harry D.H. Smith would defend his title again in a "friendly" match-up versus tag-team partner and lifelong friend, TJ Wilson. Near the end of this match Dash, Christopher Ryseck & Laramie Lexow,would come to ringside causing the distraction & interfearence that would cost Harry the victory and give the Pinnacle Washington State title to Wilson.Wilson would then turn on Smith revealing that along with Dash, Ryseck, Lexow & Northwest Veteran, Buddy Wayne, would form the faction known as The Ring Of Kings.
Dash would then return to Oregon wrestling for 2 CPW events the first being in Milwaukee, OR
where Dash teamed with Christopher Ryseck & Hoss Tull to defeat Matt Farmer, Azul Angel & JD Mason.The second being Dash's debut at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR where he lost to Larkin O'Shea.
Earlier in the evening Dash would cause a distraction costing Cameron Star a match with Dash's ally, Nolen Phillips.
In June Dash would attend a wrestling seminar taught by his future trainer, Tony Kozina & current ROH wrestler, Davey Richards.
Dash would also team with fellow Ring Of Kings members, Christopher Ryseck & Laramie Lexow as they were victorious in dual events for Pinnacle in June, Pinnacle's Rough House I on June 23rd, 2006 in a victory versus the team of Larkin O'Shea, JD Mason & The Volcano in Everett, WA and Pinnacle's Rough House II event in a victory versus Caden Mathews, Azul Angel & Nick Sully which was held in Auburn, WA at The Vision Quest gym.
Dash would then make his debut in Eastern Washington at the inagural PWB event
Rumble At The River on July 8th, 2006 at The Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, WA. He would be entered into a 10-man gauntlet to crown the first PWB champion. Dash would pin Jimmy Flame, who earlier had just pinned Kellen Raeth, and then lose to Aaron Bolo in the gauntlet. Cedric would go on to pin Aaron Bolo later on in the evening to become the first PWB champion. Dash and Raeth (The Smashers) would be at ringside to support Cedric in his victory. Dash would also team with Ronnie Angel that night in a losing effort versus Scorpio Knightmare & Taurus Reign (Astronomy) in a match to crown the first PWB Tag-Team champions.Dash would head to Portland, OR the next day, July 9th, 2006 for a CPW event at The Rock & Roll Pizza to avenge his earlier lose to Larkin O'Shea by pinning him "cleanly in the center of the ring" with guest referee Nolen Phillips. This would also be the birth of The Washington State Superstar as Dash would cut his first promo, disrespecting Oregon, it's fans and it's wrestlers and claiming Washington as the dominant state in the Pacific Northwest.
Dash would wrestle and pin Damon James at Pinnacle's Summer Shock event at The Vision Quest gym in Auburn, WA on July 22nd, 2006.
The next day, July 23rd, 2006 at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR Dash would team with Nolen Phillips (The Washington Warriors) to defeat Cameron Star, who had won the NWA Oregon Television title the night before at a CPW event, & Larkin O'Shea.
Dash would face Cameron Star for that Television title at a CPW event at The Milwaukee Elks Lodge in Milwaukee, OR but would lose by disqualification when Nolen Phillips interfered. Jimmy Flame would also make a suspisous appearence at the end of the match.
Dash would return to PWB at their event, Violent Anniversary, on August 5th, 2006 at The Wenatchee Convention Center in Wenatchee, WA to team with Kellen Raeth (The Smashers) in a victory over the team of Jimmy Flame & Cosmic River. This would also be the first time Dash's wrestling scored him a picture on the front page of a newspaper as Dash was featured on the front cover of the August 7th, 2006 edition of The Wenatchee World.
The next day, August 6th, 2006 Dash would pin Jimmy Flame in Portland, OR for a CPW event at The Rock & Roll Pizza. These two matches would be the spark of a major rivalry in Dash's short wrestling career.
Dash would return to Portland, OR and The Rock & Roll Pizza on August 20th, 2006 for a CPW event once again pinning Jimmy Flame but this time in a hardcore match that saw Flame almost taking the victory.
On August 25th, 2006 Dash would head to Surrey, British Columbia, Canada in a lose to Cole Bishop at an ECCW event. This would be Dash's debut in Canadaas well as his ECCW debut.
The next day, August 26th, 2006 in Auburn, WA at The Vision Quest gym at Pinnacle's Ring Games event Dash would team with Christopher Ryseck (The Ring Of Kings) to defeat Damon James & JD Mason (The Blue Chippers).

The day after that, August 27th, 2006 at CPW's event at The Mt. Scott Community Center in Portland, OR Dash would defeat Cameron Star in a throw-in-the-towel match to become the new NWA Oregon Television champion.
This would be Dash's first title.
The match had ended when the referee was knocked out and Dash proceeded to tie Jimmy Flame, who was Star's second, to a ring post and had Nolen Phillips, who was Dash's second, throw in Star's towel awarding the victory and title to Dash.
In September Dash would attend a wrestling seminar taught by current WWE Florida developmental wrestler Colt Cabana.
Later in September Dash would attend a wrestling seminar taught by former ECW wrestler Steve Corino and current AWA wrestler Ricky Landel.
Dash pinned Cameron Star in Star's rematch at a CPW event on September 3rd, 2006 at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR. Earlier in the evening Dash would introduce a third member into his elite Washington Warriors. To the fans surprise it was Larkin O'Shea.
On September 10th, 2006 at a CPW event at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR Dash, Nolen Phillips & Larkin O'Shea (The Washington Warriors) would team up in a lose to Cameron Star, Quiz & Colossus.
On September 17th, 2006 at a CPW event at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR Dash pinned Quiz in a NWA Oregon Television title match.
On September 24th, 2006 at Pinnacle's Autumn Bash event in Auburn, WA at The Vision Quest gym Dash & Christopher Ryseck (The Ring Of Kings) would lose to Twist & Nick Sully (The X-Ploders) in a #1 contenders match for the Pinnacle Tag-Team title.
In October Dash would attend a two-day seminar taught by current WWE Florida developmental wrestler, TJ Wilson.
On October 7th, 2006 Dash would head back to Wenatchee, WA for PWB's Hardcore Halloween event at The Wenatchee Convention Center. He would team with Kellen Raeth (The Smashers) & Deatheater in a victory over Aaron Bolo, Scorpio Knightmare & Taurus Reign (Astronomy). Dash would also compete in a battle royal that evening only to be eliminated by Nick Sully.
On October 13th (Friday The 13th), 2006 Dash would lose to CPW Hardcore champion, Dr.
Kliever in McMinnville, OR at The McMinnville Elks Lodge at a CPW event. In this match Dash's Television title wasn't on the line as only was Dr. Kliever's Hardcore title.On October 15th, 2006 at a CPW event in Portland, OR at The Rock & Roll Pizza Dash would pin Quiz in an NWA Oregon Television title defense.
On October 20th, 2006 Dash would make his debut in NRW at an event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR teaming with Erik Hansen in a victory over Thrash Kincaid & Quiz. This would be the beginning of a rivalry between Dash and Kincaid within the NRW ring.
This would also be the first time Dash would be managed by Derek Drexl. Along with J_Sin Sullivan & Dash, Derek Drexl formed The Sindicate.On October 27th, 2006, with the help of Derek Drexl, Dash would pin Thrash Kincaid at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR.
Later on in that evening Dash would participate in a battle royal only to be eliminated by Kincaid.
The next day, On October 28th, 2006 at The Everett Armory in Everett, WA Dash would pin Jimmy Flame at Pinnacle's Can-Am Caos II event. This would be Dash's final match in Pinnacle for almost a year. Due to a dispute with Pinnacle owner Cecil Reed over the then current conditions of the training facility.
The day after that on October 29th, 2006 at CPW's Halloween Hardcore event at The Mt. Scott
On November 3rd, 2006 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash pinned Aaron Bolo.
On November 5th, 2006 at a CPW event at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR The Iron Buddha defeated Dash & Nolen Phillips (The Washington Warriors) in a handicapped match.
On November 10th, 2006 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Thrash Kincaid pinned Dash in a match where Derek
Drexl was handcuffed to Skag Rollins at ringside.After the match Dash attacked Kincaid as J_Sin Sullivan & Derek Drexl attacked Skag Rollins.
Dash injured Kincaid's knee causing Kincaid to be taking to the hospital and miss almost a month of action.
The next night, November 11th, 2006 PCW held it's inagural event at The Mt. Scott Community Center in Portland, OR.
This show conflicted with Portland Wrestling's first pay-per-view taping. Dash was originally scheduled to face former PW wrestler, Psydsho. However, Psydsho no-showed the PCW event and Dash was left without an opponent.
Dash and manager Derek Drexl made their way to the ring, and as Skag Rollins watched from the commentator's table, Dash challenged anybody in the locker room to come to the ring and accept his open challenge.

After the match Dash would proclaim that since he beat a legend he was a legend and would be known from that day on as The Washington State Legacy.

On December 9th, 2006 Dash would make his return to Wenatchee, WA at a PWB event held in a church. Except this time Dash chose to not get geared up and participate. Instead he would show up at ringside during Christopher Ryseck's match versus Taurus Reign. Next up was Kellen Raeth versus Scorpio Knightmare. Before the match Raeth spotted Dash and handed him the microphone.
Dash proceeded to rundown PWB, it's fans and it's wrestlers. Dash continued on stating that until PWB met his demands he would refuse to wrestle.
This would be Dash's final appereance in PWB for almost a year.
On December 29th, 2006 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Thrash Kincaid finally got his revenge on Dash, with Derek Drexl at ringside, by pinning him in front of NRW's biggest crowd of 80 screaming fans.
2007
2007 started off for Dash in Corvalis, OR at The
Benton County Fairgrounds at CPW's Battle At Benton event on January 6th, 2007. Dash would go to a double count out with The Iron Buddha in a #1 contenders match for Jimmy Flame's NWA Oregon Television title.On January 19th, 2007 Dash would return to NRW at an event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR. Dash, with Derek Drexl at ringside, would get pinned by Caden Mathews, who has been seen on WWE Smackdown and WWE Heat.
The next evening January 20th, 2007 at CPW Winter Brawl event at The McMinnville Elks Lodge in McMinnville, OR Dash & Nolen Phillips (The Washington
Warriors) would defeat Steve Rush & Draven Vargas. Later on in the evening Dash & Phillips would be at ringside during Jimmy Flame's NWA Oregon Television title defense versus The Iron Buddha doing commentary.Near the end of the match, Nolen Phillips would enter the ring attempting to hit Buddha with a textbook instead hitting Jimmy Flame causing The Iron Buddha to become the new champion via submission.
After the match Dash would enter the ring and approach Jimmy Flame. Flame seemed ready to fight but Dash wispered something in Flame's ear causing him to calm down. Apparently those words were, "We're all from Washington."
On January 27th, 2007 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash was scheduled to face Breakneck. Breakneck no-showed the event so Dash was forced to face his cousin, Brokejaw, instead. With Derek Drexl at ringside, Dash quickly defeated Brokwjaw via submission.
On February 2nd, 2007 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash & J_Sin Sullivan (The Sindicate), with Derek Drexl at ringside, defeated Thrash Kincaid & Chuck Payne in a first round match to crown the first NRW Pacific Coast Tag-Team champions.
The next evening, February 3rd, 2007 at a CPW event at The Benton County Fairgrounds in Corvallis, OR Dash & Jimmy Flame (All-Nite Dynamite) teamed up for the first time in a losing effort versus The Iron Buddha & Rev.
On February 9th, 2007 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash, with Derek Drexl at ringside, pinned Quiz.
The next day, February 10th, 2007 Dash made his return to The Rock & Roll Pizza at CPW's Headlock On Hunger event in Portland, OR. Dash & partner Jimmy Flame (All-Nite Dynamite) were defeated in an embarrassing match versus Tommy Celsious & Draven Vargas (The D-Town Boyz). Later on in that evening Dash & Jimmy Flame participated in a battle royal but were eliminated by each other.
On February 16th, 2006 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Erik
Hansen defeated DASH and Skag Rollins in a triple-threat match.On February 23rd, 2007 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash & Diafullah The Butcher, who was filling in for the injured J_Sin Sullivan, (The Sindicate), with Derek Drexl at ringside, defeated Caden Mathews & Skag Rollins and Erik Hansen & Cameron Star in a triple-threat tag-team match to become the first ever NRW Pacific Coast Tag-Team title.
This would be Dash's second title overall and first tag-team title.
Sometime in February Jimmy Flame was in Seattle, WA drinking when he chose to climb a tree.
A branch Jimmy Flame was swinging on broke and he fell 10 feet onto a steel dumpster, breaking his clavacle. He would miss 2 months of action.

On March 3rd, 2007 at a CPW event at The Rock & Roll Pizza in Portland, OR Dash & Nolen Phillips (The Washington Warriors) reunited in a losing effort versus Tommy Celcious & Draven Vargas (The D-Town Boyz).
The end of the match saw Dash holding Tommy as he was trying to get Phillips to throw some powder.
When Phillips refused, Dash demanded that he threw the powder. When he did finally Celcious ducked out of the way and rolled up Dash for the victory. This brought about the final split of The Washington Warriors as Dash jumped "Textbook" after the match laying him out.
On March 9th, 2007 at an NRW even at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash & J_Sin Sullivan (The Sindicate), with Derek Drexl at ringside, defended the NRW Pacific Coast Tag-Team title versus Eric Hanson & Cameron Star (The Pacific Coast Blonds) in a best 2 out of 3 falls match.
The next evening on March 10th, 2007 at a CPW event at The Benton County Fairgrounds in Corvallis, OR the rivalry between former tag-team partners began as Mike Santiago defeated Dash and Nolen Phillips in a triple-threat match when Dash and Phillips brawled on the outside too long resulting in a double count out.
On March 16th, 2007 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash, J_Sin Sullivan & Derek Drexl (The Sindicate) defeated Bolo, Mike Santiago & Quiz in a six-man tag-team match.
On March 23rd, 2007 at an NRW event at The Gresham Rec Center in Gresham, OR Dash & Derek Drekl, who was standing in for Diafullah The Butcher who got held up at the airport, (The Sindicate) lost the NRW Pacific Coast Tag-Team title to Erik Hanson & Cameron Star (The Pacific Coast Blonds) in a best 2 out of 3 falls match.
